Delft Centre for Materials
Welcome to the Delft Centre for Materials
The Delft Centre for Materials brings together the expertise of 19 chairs (in 7 different faculties) in the broad field of Materials Science at the TU Delft. DCMat is active on a wide range of material fields. DCMat aims at strengthening the cooperation of the different sections, the educational profile of materials science at the Delft University of Technology as well as rationalizing the use of research equipment. DCMat has a joint collaborative research programme on Self Healing Materials and is in the process of creating a new programme on ageing of materials and structures. These activities are brought together in the Ageing Centre.
